We are a Northwest Michigan based family owned and operated Excavating Company that has been servicing Benzie, Leelanau, Grand Traverse, and Manistee Counties for over 55 years.

We provide professional and complete Homesite Preparation Services with honesty and dependability. We are a licensed and fully insured Excavating Contractor, and we guarantee that the job is done right and done on time. No project is too large or small, we serve all excavating needs including aggregate material delivery.

A Little History

Honor Excavating was founded in 1959 by Paul Rosa. His high ethical and moral standards laid the foundation for his company's long term success by passing those traits on to his son Bob, who now runs the business along with Paul's grandson Brian.

Besides working in the family business together, founder Paul and son Bob also loved fishing together. Today, Bob and son Brian continue the tradition as they love fishing and working together. For three generations, Honor Excavating, Inc. has been a proud sponsor of the Village of Honor's National Coho Festival held at the end of August each year.
